Getting Started on Mobile
Open print-file.com in Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android). The interface adapts to your screen. Tap the upload area or use "Choose File" to select a PDF, image, or document from your device. The file is processed in your browser—nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Printing to a Wireless Printer
When you tap Print, your device's print dialog appears:
- iOS: Use AirPrint. Ensure your printer supports AirPrint and is on the same Wi‑Fi network. Select the printer and tap Print.
- Android: Use Google Cloud Print or your printer's app if installed. Some printers support direct Wi‑Fi printing from the system print dialog.
Saving as PDF on Mobile
If you don't have a printer nearby, save the document as PDF:
- iOS: In the print preview, pinch to expand, then tap the Share button. Choose "Save to Files" or "Print" and then "Save as PDF".
- Android: In the print dialog, select "Save as PDF" as the destination instead of a physical printer.
Tips for Best Results
Use Wi‑Fi rather than cellular for large files. Rotate your device to landscape if the preview is cramped. For multi-page PDFs, the full document is sent to the print dialog—you can adjust pages and copies there.
Troubleshooting Mobile Printing
If the print option doesn't appear, ensure pop-ups aren't blocked. Some corporate or school networks restrict printing. Try saving as PDF first, then print from another device or app.
